Rhythm and Jews Services:

Our signature service featuring the Bruno Trio with Rabbi Churgel and Chazzan Abramson (on guitar) create an upbeat fusion of Israeli, Chasidic, American and Middle Eastern sounds that delight young and old alike.  Welcome reception at 5:15 PM, the Service at 6 PM.  

CDs of the service are available in the temple office with a suggested $18 donation.

12 pm Luncheon followed by "Chanukah and Bravery" study session with Alden Solovy ($18 register below).

9 am Coffee and Danish with Alden Solovy; book sale and signing.  No reservations needed and there is no fee to attend.

10:15 am Workshop with our teens and Alden Solovy.

Congregational Trip to Israel with Rabbi Churgel:

May 6-17, 2018 What a trip it will be!  Created by the ARZA Travel division, it is designed for first-time visitors as well as returnees. Rosh Chodesh Women's Study Group:

Rosh Chodesh, occurring monthly, as a celebration of the 'New Moon" is a holiday specifically for women and celebrated by women.  Our Rosh Chodesh gatherings take place on the Friday closest to the actual Rosh Chodesh date: we meet from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m in Room 2 of the school wing and an optional group lunch, offsite, follows.  Our creative gatherings are facilitated by one or two members and include innovative programming in a friendly and nurturing atmosphere.  There is no charge to participate.   For further information and to RSVP please contact Roberta at 941-346-5529 or roberta.berson@comcast.net.  Temple women of all ages are invited to attend.

Calling all Performers!

A troupe called the Sinai Players is forming.  Singers, actors and musicians are needed.  

Auditions are taking place November 14 and 16.  Cabaret performance will take place Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Havurot at Temple Sinai! 

We have recently formed our Fourteenth  Havurah!  Won't you consider joining us?  Temple Sinai's Havurot Program consists of multiple groups, each one individually known as a "havurah" (a Hebrew word translated as "friendship" or "companions”).  Information and registration forms are available in the temple office and on the membership table in the Sanctuary foyer.  You can also reach the Havurah committee via email at TempleSinaiHavurah@gmail.com.  Over 225 members have signed on for this opportunity.
